Grooming & Cuts

The Puppycut is our most popular and requested style. Traditionally, the puppycut is when the body is all one length (usually under 1/2″), a rounded ‘teddybear head’, and a slightly longer tail. This cut can be customized to your liking, simply specify a body length and the head and tail will be left longer yet proportionate to the body.

Breed cuts are available for ALL dog breeds as defined by the American Kennel Club. Our groomers have spent several years studying and performing all breed specific cuts.

The Shavedown – another popular haircut. Often people would opt for this style to combat matting, hot weather, or simply for a longer lasting haircut. The Shavedown doesn’t leave much to the imagination, we remove all hair from the body, the head, and the tail leaving a short manageable coat.
is a top choice for cat owners, although many dog breeds benefit from the look.

The Lioncut – a short shavedown of the body leaving a tuft of hair at the tip of the tail, a mane, and boots transforming your domestic cat into a miniature version of the king of the jungle.

The Modified Cut is also available to cat customers wanting anything other than the shavedown or the lioncut.

DeShedding Treatment

Our DeShedding treatment is available to both cats and dogs. It all starts with our ‘Premium Bath Package’, then is followed by working a thick conditioner thoroughly into the pet’s coat all the way down to the skin. This specialty conditioner helps to break up and loosen the dead and dying undercoat.

While the conditioner is still in the hair, a comb is used over the entire body capturing much of the loose hair. This conditioner helps to break up and loosen the dead and dying undercoat. 

Rinsing and blow drying removes large amounts of the loosened hair, but we don’t stop there. Lastly, a very fine toothed FURminator brush is used resulting in a reduction of shedding by up to 90%.

Bathing

The basic bath package (ear cleaning, nail trimming, blow-dry and brush-out) starts with an over all assessment of your pet’s health. We check for skin irritation, fleas, ticks, infections or any other possible ailments that may be troubling your pet. We then select a shampoo or product catered specifically to the needs of your pet.

It is important to maintain regular grooming for the overall health of your pet. Many small issues can easily be overlooked through normal interaction with your pets and can later become big problems. Our highly trained professionals know what to look for and how to address any negatives we may find and will always report our findings back to you.
